If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Bacteria in the food

Post by want2bike »

The article explains why we are seeing the contamination of bacteria in the meat we eat. Stop shopping at the supermarkets and go organic if you want good health.

Study's can be found to sway your way of thinking in either direction on just about any subject:

"A new study on food safety reveals that organic produce may contain a significantly higher risk of fecal contamination than conventionally grown produce"

"The Hidden Dangers In Organic Food"

I think at this point you just can't know one way or the other unless you grow your produce yourself.

The federal agency NARMS found many harmful bacteria in the meat in the supermarkets so that says something about the meat many are eating. If you believe that put animals in a CAFO, giving them antibiotics and steroids, and force feeding them GMO corn and soy is a healthy thing then eat the meat. If you believe in the natural way of raising animals is best then buy organic. In the summer I have no problem since I buy from the farmers market and grow my own. It would be nice in the winter if they had organic labeling on this food so I could make the choice. Spend a lot of my money at Trader Joes in the winter since they carry more organic food. People are waking up to what has been going on and getting their health back.

Are you aware that 100% grass fed meats are readily available (as are wild (not farmed) fish and other seafood?
