NEW TO THIS FORUM

Post by sonnym22 »

I'm 41 y/o male. I was diagnosed with MS back in June, 2014. I don't have many symptoms. I have neuropathy in both feet. It doesn't hurt but there. I'm still active and run alot, play basketball and softball. I also lift weights pretty heavy 5-6 times per week. There hasn't been any limitations. My legs feel weaker than before, but it hasn't been that big of a deal. I'm also 41, lol.

Back in Feb, 2009, I had a URI and that's when the neuropathy started. No other symptoms really until Feb, 2014. I lost hearing in my right ear, went to ENT, they performed a MRI.
I just happened to schedule my annual neurology appoint around that same time to f/u on the neuropanthy. After going to neurology back in 2009, they told me to f/u annually. I was diagnosed with idiopathic neuropathy, because they couldn't find anything wrong with me.

I've been on Tecfidera since June, 2014. I can't tell if it's working or not. I had/have no symptoms, so I just take it and keep living.

Looking forward to other stories!

Sonny
