Blown Off!

Post by Shang »

So I have had many symptoms
If you want to find my latest posts it is under "general discussion" and "undiagnosed". the title is named "I think have MS like crazy".

Anyways, these are my symptoms
Twitches.
Blurred vision.
Atrophy of my arms and legs.
Soreness.
Weightless feeling.
Hearing increase and loss.
Headache
Heavy eye
Shoulder pain
Memory issues
Heat itch and itch as soon as I get out of shower
Feet burning
Crackling in head
Numbness
Taste of metal in mouth.

I was diagnosed with sinus itis!!! How the hell do you diagnose me with something like that when not one symptom I have is similar. NOT ONE!! Doctors can be idiots. A myth busted!! I want to push for a spinal tap. How do I go about doing it. My MRI came back normal. These doctors are killing me.

I can barely hold my head up at work today and they have the nerve to tell me sinus itis.

Take a breath, Shang.

Even a spinal tap is not conclusive for MS. Oligoclonal bands can be found in the CFS of people who have conditions other than MS; for instance, a vitamin B 12 deficiency.

If you are not satisfied with your doctors, find and interview a new GP or internist who enjoys being a "disease detective."

Hi,

Tell me about the taste in your mouth. Is it there all the time? Does food taste any different than it used to? Does your mouth have a different feel?
Do you have a pink tongue or is it coated? If it is not pink describe it.

Regards,

It's not there all the time. It taste like zinc or something or exactly like the end of a battery. It happened twice over a 3 week period then it never happened again. Kind of tart taste is say. Food taste he same. All food. My mouth feels the same. However, I also experienced twitching on my tongue twice in a row while falling a sleep one night. It was like bzzzzzz......... 10 seconds later....bzzzzz

What makes it worse? Had you just woken up with it? Did it become more pronounced after you ate or drank something?
Can you look in a mirror, stick your tongue out and tell me if if it coated or clean? If it's coated what does it look like?

Regards

It's just a regular looking tongue. It's pink and healthy. However I noticed, it does twitch now also. Not hard but it does regularly if I stick it out and hold it out. The taste happened one morning lasted for a few days and went away. Nothing really made it worse.

OK.

The reason I ask is two of your symptoms were of interest;one was the taste and the other was you couldn't hold your head up at work (presumably you felt bombed). They can both be symptoms of Candida Albicans infection. Sometimes it also shows up on the tongue. Have you been tested for it and have you tried treatment with Nystatin and diet?
The same symptoms can be true of EBV infection but I think you try a weed and feed mix of nystatin and diet first.
