questions about the lhermitte's sign

Post by gerardyu »

I noticed that my lhermitte's sign comes and goes throughout the day. Its usually quite mild, i only experience some buzzing sensations on a hand or foot, without any strange sensations on my back. I may have it in one instance, however 10 minutes later, when i bend my neck , i don't feel the lhermitte's sign. Does this usually happen in MS?

Also i have this symptom whereby any neck movements (twisting left or right, lifting or bending the neck) results in some static feeling on my right hand. However, this static feeling ceases when there is no movement regardless of whether my neck is twisted or bent. Is this a lhermitte's sign?

Likewise, sometimes any movement on my back( without bending my neck) seems to to trigger some buzzing sensations on my foot occasionally.

I also feel a little bruise-like pain when i rub my thoracic spine somewhere from T3 to T5

my cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine mri were clean the last time i scanned. So i'm just wondering if my lhermitte's sign is actually related to MS or is it more of something like a pinch nerve.

I have what I call jolts in my left leg. Mine used to be in response to head posture, although it took me forever to figure out that was the trigger! But now, they just happen any time and it is unrelated to posture. I think that is just the progression of the MS.
