Hi!
I have been having a tingling/buzzing sensation in my legs and I'm trying to figure out if it might be MS.
It never happens when I'm moving or exercising. I only notice it sometimes when I'm sitting and resting. If I change positions, it goes away. It's usually down both legs at the same time, but sometimes it's just one leg, sometimes just feet.
Does this sound like MS? I have a doctor's appointment, but I'm looking for input in the meantime. Thanks!!

Whoa, hold your horses! You haven't been to the doctor yet and you are "trying to figure out if it might be MS." MS is a diagnosis of exclusion; it can only be considered AFTER other more likely conditions have been ruled out.
I suggest you take a written list of your symptoms to your doctor's appointment (How long have these been occurring?), discuss all the possible causes, create your game plan for investigation, and begin by requesting a vitamin D blood test (the 25-hydroxy D test) and vitamin B 12 testing. (Ask for your own copy of any test results – it is important that you have the actual numbers.)
The tingling/buzzing sensation in your legs (also called "peripheral neuropathy") is consistent with MANY conditions, such as nutrient deficiencies, thyroid problems, celiac disease, and LOTS more.

Okay, thank you!
I just wasn't sure if there was a certain type of tingling/buzzing that happens with MS vs. Anxiety vs. Vitamin deficiencies etc. It is strange to me that I never have it while I'm moving around or engaged in things...It sounds like I need to start working through the possibilities with my doctor. I do have low vitamin D, I have for years.
