Doctor is stumped
Doctor is stumped
First off, I probably shouldn't even be posting here because I don't think MS is on the radar at this time. Also, this is not a bash on my neuro. Yes, he is stumped but he told me so AND was not dismissive but pushing forward to find answers. I respect that. So... I have too many MS symptoms to list but the current bothersome ones are neck/back/leg pain and arm hand tingling on the RIGHT side. My c spine MRI showed stenosis, degeneration and a couple of mild bulging disks. However, all of these issues are on the LEFT. It also showed an enlarged thyroid with multiple cysts. My doctor does not understand why my right side is causing me issues. There is no sign of a pinched nerve. My numbness is unexplained. Next step is lumbar and thoracic MRI. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Re: Doctor is stumped
Has your neuro considered fibromyalgia? The widespread pain alone should point you in that direction and it can explain a lot of neurological symptoms as well.
