Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIPD)
Does anyone have any views on the aetiology of Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP)? Occurs at about 1/8th the prevalence of MS. Similar symptoms.

CIDP is a completely different disease. It can cause weakness and numbness just like MS, but so can a host of neurological diseases such as herniated discs, strokes, and tumors. What exactly are you getting at?
