hey i was on this alot of iv and 11 days of oral
could this have caused such a reaction from NAC

Whoa! Yes, I'd say adding NAC to antibiotics would do it. We think IV antibiotics are gutsy, because it's more potent and there's no way to control the amount of die-off you get. You've really been through the mill, haven't you?

Welcome to my world. I basically told the neuro I was going to do antibiotics and he could help or he could watch. He chose to watch, but I fired him before he got to see the improvements and found another who was a little more open to abx. My general practice dr wouldn't prescribe, but offered to monitor. I then found a prescribing doctor who is basically wonderful and the rest is history.
But I do have a long record of no one being able to figure out my lifelong chronic fatigue and weird chest pains...

I have a friend who's starting abx and he said his doctor has watched him slide so dramatically, the doctor will do anything to help him at this point, even though he has no cpn information. The dr is learning right along with my friend.

to answer the original question, I agree with Mac, adding NAC on top of IV antibiotics is likely to cause a reaction. But the reaction could also have been waiting in the wings as Cpn die off is very toxic to the body and cumulative, sometimes the liver has problems clearing up this toxic material and it builds up...
This is why we always recommend caution when starting the protocol.
Doctors and Neuros in particular are unaware of the Cpn potential to make you ill when it is alive in you but also its potential to make you feel awful and toxic when it dies.
There is an 'advantage' in having MS, and that is the helplessness that General Practice doctors feel when confronted with the steady (or rapid) deterioration of their patients, so giving them a tool to combat this is often welcome. Not always though, most of us experience the kinds of problems you have, before eventually finding someone who is willing to learn along with us.
