LDN-Gulf War Syndrome

Post by Sharon »

Interesting article on a trial at Stanford University with veterans of the Gulf War. Trial is still open for participants. Trial is being funded by a private donor.

Thanks Sharon,
I think the "environmental trigger" theory is hard to dispute, making it easy to connect the dots to any number of autoimmunes. But, how do we avoid them? Bubble Boy comes to mind.

Lars -

I do not believe we can avoid the environmental triggers - if possible, we need to recognize those triggers that affect us individually. I have a few that I try to stay away from.

I have read other articles about the young men and women who are exposed to "new" environmental triggers once they are sent overseas to a foreign country. The environmental affect of their time away from home may not be noticed until years later.

It will be interesting to see if the LDN is helpful
