Attitude of Gratitude - Memorial Day edition

Post by Loobie »

To all Veterans and active service members:

THANK YOU

To all the men and women who put their lives on the line so we can be insulated from it all and live our lives:

THANK YOU

To the family members who are our neighbors and have to leave their families and lives behind to keep us safe:

THANK YOU

We should all think of this as more than a three day weekend and try to imagine our worst day of MS, and then throw yourself into a foxhole while being shot at. These guys don't care if we are politically left, politically right, or apolitical (OK I made that word up; I think 8O ), they serve Americans and have earned our thanks.

Well said Lew!

My Dad did 2 tours in Vietnam before he retired in Nov 1968. He died in a car accident 2 weeks after he retired. I still miss him....
