Insurance denied for MRV

Post by IHateMS »

Any hints on what dx local vascular doc can use? He went with the swollen ankle angle.

Medicare is primary and XYZ is secondary. The secondary denied. I am keeping the name of XYZ confidential.

I can't physically go to Stanford.

That sucks. Mine was denied as well.

Could you elaborate more please? It was my understanding that most here got Dake himself to apply for the MRV. I'm imagining an ankle problem would not be enough to convince the insurance of doing a head&neck MRV...

My insurance refused the follow up MRV--I had to do a CT scan instead.

that was cheap, the MRV is like 8 grand 8O , the CT about 1.
I'm not offering medical advice, I am just a patient too! Talk to your doctor about what is best for you...
