clinical trials?

Post by indigoinmotion »

Does anyone know of any stem cell clinical trials happening in the us? I heard that there was one at the Cleveland clinic, but I can't find any info. I think it was based on fat cells??

Autologous Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) Transplantation in MS

http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=NCT00813969

I was very excited to hear of the first MS adult stem cell trial in the USA where they don't ablate the immune system first with chemo/radiation. So I called and talked to them. Status: funding is not complete yet, but they are expecting to have everything organized Spring 2010, so they are not taking enrollment yet.
