Hi
I am really convinced by CCSVI.
I doubt my neuro is going to be much enthused about it and I am considering just pushing ahead and travelling for the investigations and possible stents needed.
How much does it generally cost for the full investigations & treatment? Ireland is in the EU so not sure if that has any relevance.
Please feel free to PM me if you'd prefer not to post publically. Any replies really appreciated.

There is an Italian doctor in Belfast who had this procedure done in Italy, but who may get redone locally, maybe you should wait for that, to see if you can have it done well, close to home. I think for those of us in the EU, USA prices are just too way out there....it's something like 60-90K for everything.
We have about 15 bucks saved, sadly.

I am hoping to go to Dr Simka or someone else in the EU. I am waiting for the postal strike in the UK to be over so I can send my scans to Dr Simka!
I originally enquired about treatment with Dr Dake but without insurance and the cost of travel, accomodation plus the procedure I think I would have to win the lottery!

I still do not know the price, but I think this might be imortant information for some patients:
"Our radiologists are starting MRVs according to Stanford protocol next week, I hope they will succeed."
This was part of Dr. Simka´s e-mail this evening.
