I'm never quite able to grasp all the "ins and outs" of study data and I think the info in those links will be helpful as we encounter various reports about the CCSVI research. For example, there's this quote from Dr. John Richert, executive vice president for research and clinical programs at the NMSS, about Zamboni's study results: Radical MS Theory Stirs Interest

The changes that they saw, Richert said, are similar to those "that we tend to see in placebo groups in major drug trials."

I would love to see the changes in placebo groups in major drug trials, maybe the NMSS could post that info on their site.

Richert also noted

the MS society is "anticipating" proposals for a randomized trial of the surgery by its February grant deadline.

Ok, enough alright already--I think we need to be informed advocates and I for one am not too informed on analzying data.
