Hello everyone, Even though I have had M.S. for 32 years I`m still full of life, every kind! only been in a wheelchair for the last year but can get from A to B walking with my frame( not far), still look after myself all over, why not! we are normal human beings with quite a few difficulties and yes I`m a young sixty eight so there`s hope for everyone. Please don`t think I`m a show off, no just a Yorkshire lass now living in Lincolnshire

Hi Gillie and welcome to the site. I'm one of those "lurkers," reading at least once, sometimes 2 or 3 times per day, but not posting much. I get a lot from this site and feel guilty for not contributing. My problem is that I have pretty severe cognitive dysfunction and can hardly read some of the posts here. It seems like everyone is a scientist. I am 56 with MS for 14-15 years since dx but symptoms for more like 20. I'd be interested to hear how your progression went between 20 and 30 years because I feel like I get worse every day, a slow but noticeable decline. What meds have you taken and for how long? If you'd rather do this by private messages, I'd be happy to go that route. There is a topic for MS in the golden years on this board that you might want to check out.
