If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Drinking milk during pregnancy reduces risk of developing MS

Post by hlm286 »

I'm pregnant and I've been trying not to drink milk because of all the theories on diet and MS (I try to follow Swank and Best Bet guidelines.) I do however drink fortified rice or almond milk, take vit D and calcium supplements. I think I'll reintroduce more milk into my diet though just while I'm pregnant. This study did not say if it was from the milk being vit D fortified, but I don't know if they did fortify the milk with vit D when the study took place. (Isn't vit D in milk a relatively new thing? I don't really know)
