Dr. Sclafani said exactly the same thing to me last year when I first emailed him. It's all about the reflux, shear stress to the endothelium, and ultimate breach of the BBB.

Perhaps this IR can do what Dr. Sclafani did and go spend a week in the woods and read Zamboni's papers. Without an understanding of his hypothesis, there is no reason to treat.
