Bed Wetting?

If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Intersting... I always seem to get worsening symptoms when I'm stressed, tired or sick.

Actually this last bout of eye issues and incontinence came right after I had a terrible case of the flu. I felt great right after I got sick, and then a week or two later I got hit HARD with all the typical symptoms I get but they were a lot worse than usual. There must be some connection here.

i think MS is as "auto immune" as cancer... meaning the immune system tries to fight it... thus when it gets strong enough we feel better, but the MS keeps winning again and again until it does its damage....

Agree with that, although there are lots of people who feel that stress can bring about an exacerbation.

lobbie, I agree with that too, but I really think there are two separate processes, and one "provokes" the other... It's like the auto immune part of the disease attacks the nerves which then kind of mess up with the brain...
but you can have the auto immune part without the degenerative process in the brain (some people can have severe neuropathy and have normal MRIs.. or your neuropathy can get worse and your brain remain the same...)
