No the question was aimed at anyone that knows the answer.

I might as well come clean on my train of thinking.

Treatments like Revimmune appear to be very effective, but have serious side effects. Now, jump 10years back, a treatment for AIDS was devised where they basically pump your blood through a machine that raised the bloods temperature a few degrees (the HIV dies at a raised temperature before standard blood cells do), and then directed the blood back into you. It failed because HIV infected ALL cells (muscle etc) not just the blood, so you just became re-infected.

I was thinking that it may be possible to dose the blood ex-vivo, remove the poison, and then return the (cleaned) blood back to your system. Similar idea to dialysis. The idea being that every system in your body would not have to endure the poison.

Now I understand the big issue is in our CNS, but i have read that that the fluid is recycled within a few hours. Just a random thought.

That is specifically plasma (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plasma_exchange). And plasma is not where the damaging items *appear* to be for MS. I was originally diagnosed with CIDP where this is one of the treatments, and when diagnosed with MS, I looked into it, and found it wasn't accepted as being effective.

I was not thinking in it being THAT specific. Just dosing with the shotgun chemical outside the body (and removed before the blood goes back in) so the rest of the biological systems do not have to suffer, and hence the safety profile will possibly improve (and maybe higher effective doses can be used etc etc etc), while still using a shotgun style chemical.

Glad to hear that the contact info I gave you worked out. JH is being very agressive with this protocol. Do you have a date to meet with Dr. Kerr and staff to discuss the proceedure? I was in treatment only one month after my preliminary appointment. I am heading down to JH next week for my first three month check up. I had an MRI yesterday that had no new lessions and no activity in the ones that are existing. So far so good since I am not on any meds. My blood levels are returning to normal and I am feeling more like myself. If JH has not answered all your questions I would be more than happy to try to get some answers for you when I meet with them on Wed.
