Any suggestion?

Pepe.

In case you have the procedure one day, take also Polish - English dictionary. I did not need it because my language is close to Polish and I had chance to learn some words in advance. All doctors speak English, nurses only Polish. I do not understand everything, but a lot.

Nees on 1st, Wonky1 & Sesj on 7th, Pepe on 8th & LR1234 on the 10th.

Great, hope I get the chance to meet you all.

I found some nice hotels at www.staypoland.com and flights seem to be getting more affordable by the minute.
I haven't booked a flight home yet, as I'll book a flight home once I've had the procedure.

Say hi to all doctors and nurses from me, please.
I miss my holiday in Poland. I really had rest on the operation table after very long time.
I did not have to think, I did not have to organize , I did not have to work, I was not in rush, so many smart people around me I could rely on. I really enjoyed it. Oh, what a nice relax it was!

Hi Pepe,

this is such a good idea to collect and post all the information about Poland.

I can recommend a very good restaurant in Pszczyna: Stara Piekarna
Escellent Silesian cuisine.

Better you don't only stay in Poland for examination. Poland ist much more.

They have slovak, czech and austrian cuisine in Hotel Franz Jozef. He was active in thes countries. As it is my "at home " cuisine - no suprise.
The "Krocan" - Turkey was very good. I liked also coffee during breakfast. I was used to drink it like that in Austria.
Drink only Czech or Slovak beer. They say it is better.
As I was always week and tired I did not enjoy anything. It was in Tychy the same. Ewerything was TOTALLY UNIPORTANT for me.
I just was thinking all the time how to get the procedure. I understand Poland will be for you new country and yes enjoy it. For me it is almoste the same as my country. They just use different money - we already use Euro and the language is not the same as mine. The rest is the same.

They have only 5 Polish TV Channels in the hotel, if you bring your laptop you get the cable and you can use the internet. There are exactly 27 stairs to get upstairs.
