hello
my operation is on the 13th. the plan is to arrive in sofia on the 10th, and fly back on the 19th.

we are now thinking about driving, because of these vulcanos erupting interfering with air trafic all over europe. latest info is that it can go on for months, and i really really do not want to miss my slot!

hopefully it will not come to that, and hopefully things will go according to plan for all of us.

i will take my netbook with me, hospital and all hospital hotels have got wireless broadband, and i will post on here with my experience as soon as i can.

can reconmend easyjet from gatwick, got a very good deal, £230 return for the two of us. my father is coming with me.
<div>I have lived with ms for 8 years. The last year has been hell, I've gone from shite to even worse every single month, until my liberation in May. </div>

Hello, I just got my date for Tokuda hospital, mid July. So, I have to try and find a flight to Sophia. I live in Quebec.

Could somebody please recommend a way to get a cheap flight. I know some of you already booked flights from Montreal. Or is it better to contact Geyatours as recommended in Dr. Grozdinski's email..

Any input will be appreciated..

By the way who is having the earliest appointment , end of April.. Please share here your experience there. Thanks.. and good luck to us all..

Hi Niceflow,

Cheap won't be happening the middle of July but your best bet for flights will be Air France. Montreal to Paris to Sofia was the best I looked into. Hope that helps.

We have also booked a ferry crossing just in case the air problems carry on, it's a long drive from the UK but I'm not missing my appointment for anything :D

Hi all,
I am new to this forum.
I have a question and I hope some of you can help me.
Today I have received an email from dr grozdinsky in which he wants me to say if I accept or not the date of procedure. I do not understand if I have to send him the flight number in a week or can I do it later. One week was a time frame that I have to answer to his mail.
My english is not good, but I have problem understanding his.
Can someone who got this mail, explain to me what he ment. :?:

Just send an email to him that you WILL go to Sofia on the given date.
If you are to stay in the hospitals hotel this is enough orelse you should contact Geya Tours. Either way, he will reply soon enough once you agree to go.

office@geyatours.com

I suggest to let someone who speaks English better than you do, to make arrangements with them if possible. That way, no errors will occur.

dada

english is not my first language either. but my boyfriend is english, we have two kids, we speak english at home, and we have lived in the uk for 5 years. i do not have much problems speaking og understanding english, but i have had problems both understanding tokuda hospital when i was speaking with them, and also problems making myself understood. their english is not the best.
they prefer written communication, and they want emails only, i do not recomend phoning them. i got same email as you, i wrote back accepting the date of hospitalisation, letting them know that i wanted to give flight details later on. i got new email then from geyatours, wanting the travel details. i am not sure how much communication there is between the doctor and geyatours.
i have recieved confirmation email from both now, but it took some doing. if i have any further problems, i will talk to them through the embassy, just to make sure there is no confusion. it has been a bit difficult to understand how it all works.

I just want to thank everyone for sharing their experiences and valuable insights. Your support means everything!

I'm not well enough (unfortunately) to type with 1 finger, so I can't post as often as I'd like.

I have an appointment July 20 in Bulgaria. I'm excited and scared at the same time. I'll be sure to post here all about it.

Do they check the azygos vein in Bulgaria??? :?:

Best wishes to everyone,
SofiaK
