we are into pest control these days. Blame it on TIMS popularity ...Daisy3 wrote:I have no idea what you guys are talking about on this post.
CCSVI - Pride and Prejudice
only you seem to be saying that, although I am not surprised ...Lyon wrote: Although not specifically pro-CCSVI it seems that Malden has added more in his two months membership than you have in your six because, as evidenced by your record, you seek to do no more and add no more than to stir things up.
makes me laugh how people overate themselves ... what makes you think I would even consider your advice. Go and look at your posts and you will realize who needs to conserve what ...Lyon wrote: Between friends......it's obviously to your benefit to conserve the pieces of your mind.
havent read this whole thread but its good to hear from patients post-liberation who arent fixed. There are reasons for this like restenosis, and a bad procedure, but what's beyond that? Ive often thought that ms might have some 'momentum' of its own, so even if hypoxia/iron overload are stopped there might still be enough toxins around for one more attack.
Beyond that maybe we're finding cases where this honestly doesnt work.
The only reason Im doubting that is the parroting of an ignorant doc that Im hearing in these words. If these drugs could produce positive results why werent ms patients on them already? Sounds like what a neuro would say...someone hypnotized into believing that drugs are way more important than they are...

For the sake of TIMS, I'm leaving TIMS so no one needs to worry about anything, ever.
Best wishes all.

So many of us have cognitive, emotional, and other impairments due to CCSVI/"MS", not to mention run-of-the-mill (or not so r-o-t-m) personality disorders. There are genuinely twisted personalities that go on suicide fora and encourage people to suicide, people who are hurting, and want to hurt others. It can be hard to recognize what is whom sometimes.
I have had my own part in a few regrettable exchanges, but that is what the EDIT button is for. Can't beat the quotes, though.
My name is not really Johnson. MSed up since 1993

jimmylegs,
Your words kept coming back to me, pulling me back into the TIMS family. If I may say... You are an excellent Moderator. Thank you very, very much.
I would also like to thank my friend Johnson (and one or two other special people) for encouraging me to come back to TIMS. In the future, I will keep in mind using the EDIT button.
Feeling like a part of this phenomenal family is so wonderful -- I promise everyone that I will always try my best to be worthy of the honor and the privilege of being an active member of TIMS.
Edit: in answer to jimmyleg's question, "I Wish!"
