Thank you for the welcome! :))

Hi Chris!

Thanks so much for the welcome, and here's wishing you a great weekend! :)

I'm kinda learning my way around this place, and wouldn't you know I have another couple of questions??

Why is it whenever I answer a post, or start a new subject, the color and the bold type face never seem to want to work??? Is there something I need to do, besides just click on them??? Boy!! I hate to sound dumb, but I'm finding this confusing for my one brain cell,

In other words, I love the site, but need some instructions on just how to use the tools here...any help will be greatly appreciated.

Take care, and be well!

Hi again Diane, :D

I haven't tried the things you mention, but have you tried highlighting the text before you click the bold key etc? Might be worth a try.

Hi Diane

I clicked on the drop down box for color and font size and chose a color and size. So if this is green and in large text then it works. Hope you're having a great day.

Hi,

What you need to do is click on bold and a color. The code for bold and the color will come out at the begining of the message, for example . This is the html code. Your message will still look normal but when you post it, it should come out in the color you want.

As it shows as html code you have to make sure it is ended at the end of your message so for example if you have at the beginning of your message then you must have
at the end and if you have then you need at the end. The [/] ends the command.

Sorry that my font etc keeps changing in this message but as I am typing the command for example it is changing my font!!!

Hope that helps and isn't too technical as I wasn't sure how to explain it!! :?

Hope that helps

Hi,

Glad that helped.

I'm not that clever, just I've done a NVQ in html so when the codes popped up on my message I realised what was going on!!!!!!

I'd love to teach you Diana but I am an awful teacher, not got the patience

Makes me feel good that I was useful for once - LOL

Take Care all

I'm glad you got your bold and colours sorted out - I've just come back from a two day hospital visit following another two days of computer related stress

I'll have to try catching up with you all :D

Hi,
I just joined...I am so happy to find this site! An introduction...I am 33 - was diagnosed when I was 30, although my neuro could trace back the disease at least another 5, so I guess I was approx. 25 when this all started. I have taken Avonex, but switched to Rebif as the study results were so much stronger. I have not had a serious flare-up, however I have put on almost 40 pds over the last 4 years. My fatigue is my biggest symptom - which is how I found this site, hoping to find some help regarding fatigue. Please know that I was always extremely athletic and I do know the importance of exercise...I am just too bloody tired to use the gym I have in my house (and a nice one it is)...I am looking forward to meeting everyone!

I AM FEMALE, SPMS, MARRIED, TWO KIDS, FOUR GRANDCHILDREN, THEY KEEP ME GOING. THIS SEEMS LIKE A GREAT SITE FOR INFO AND NOT TOO MUCH WHINING AND COMPLAINING. :) KUDOS TO THE DESIGNERS, SPELL-CHECK IS A NEED FOR OUR FUMBLING FINGERS VIKKI

 Hi all..........I'm "Pinky" and new to this site , which looks incredibly interesting; am having a tough time figuring it out though, chat wise and posts and such. I am my husbands caregiver; he has been diagnosed with Relapsing Progressive MS. He's pretty much totally disabled and has severe dementia as well. I would appreciate hearing from some of you regarding these particular problems if anyone is having to deal with them. P.

Pinky, welcome and I wish your husband the best. There's a lot of info on this site and maybe you can make some improvements in his treatments (e.g., the article on Alpha-Lipoic Acid or the many satisfied users of LDN).

Out of curiosity, did the severe dementia result from the MS?
