I had Mono when I was 16. I was sick for a month before diagnosis, then missed one month of school.

This is the first Monday in 3 months that I have felt human! Here's hoping my body is getting adjusted to the Avonex. I am taking Avonex, don't have much input as to the effectiveness for I've only had 10 injections.

I do still get PRETTY sick for 2 or 3 days after the injection, hopefully this will end soon.

I like the once weekly injection, I don't like the side effects.

Has your doctor given you any meds for pain at night? I currently take 600mg of Neurontin when I get home from work and another 600mg before going to bed. It helps with the pain, especially in my legs. I do not have a special bed of any kind, I do sleep well most of the time. I know what it is like ...

Has to be cognitive, only because I feel that others notice, when in truth they normally don't. The fatigue is very difficult as well. my neuro is going to give me something for fatigue as soon as I adjust to Avonex.
