I am wondering how much MS will limit my future
I'm in my early 20s and I'm afraid I won't be able to do what I want to do. (whatever that may be). I am afraid for my future and I no longer have peace of mind. I want to be as smart as possible but I hear that MS makes your memory terrible and not good at retaining new information. This can be bad...

Re: Targetting stem cells to specific tissues
Whenever I read one of these, I wonder if they still have to do Chemo/Radiation? or do they inject you with these cells and they do the healing without renewing the immune system.

When will Stem cell treatment be FDA approved in YOUR opinio
It always seems that articles are coming out about the progression of science and how great discoveries are coming along yadda yadda...
and yet... nothing. All these years, where is all this research heading, besides into their pockets.

Which pattern is more characteristic of MS?
I got my blood test back and my b12 levels were completely normal. Further indulging me into the possibility of MS. I have a question for all of you here. I get warm patches at random times on my extremities(and recently an eyelid) for 7 months now. I am wondering if any of you could give input on w...

Re: hot sensations in arms and legs for months
I think I have come to a conclusion that what I am feeling is described as "Paroxysmal attacks in multiple sclerosis". It matches perfectly with what I am feeling. Does anyone have any thoughts or previous experience with this early on in your MS?

How many of you have Amalgam fillings
and how many?
I read studies that Amalgam can contribute to MS or any other brain disease. I also read that there was a study done of 20,000 adults with amalgam fillings and only 7 had MS.
I can't find a number indicating how many people in the world have amalgam fillings but I'd be curious to know.

When do YOU think there will be a cure?
I read about some stem cell trials done on mice that allowed them to walk again within 48 hours.
I'm just wondering when you think there will be a cure for MS?

Re: MS or Fibro Help
I would recommend asking about Lyme Disease. I hear that the side effects can take years after the bite before they present themselves in people.

Re: hot sensations in arms and legs for months
Thank you for your information and concern. I will keep you posted, I'm sure it will be a while before I get any diagnosis (from the stories I hear). It was nice to hear that you were diagnosed so simple and easily. Some people I read were living with it for years before a dx.

Re: hot sensations in arms and legs for months
Could this also be due to some vitamin deficiency? Or would there be a more dramatic increase in symptoms for that?

hot sensations in arms and legs for months
Hello, I am a 23 year old male. No prior health history and I've finally been feeling these slight warm to hot sensations in random parts of my extremities for over 6 months now. Usually happen once a day(sometimes more) and for about 5 seconds tops. There is no definite pattern of the hot feelings....
