Oh, just wait until we go back to my husband's neurologist for his next appointment. He will definately bring this up. He had told me last year that Dr. Zivadinov and his group were putting their careers and reputations on the line.

Sounds like my husband's neurologist. Believe me there are many neurologists and even general physicians who are repeating the same statements to their patients. As CeCe said, if she wasn't informed she would have been scared by some of his statements. Most patients don't have the knowledge that CeC...

MS is closely related to antiphospholipid syndrome, which became a differential diagnosis in the 1980s when Dr. Hughes detected APS. My husband is on a list for treatment for CCSVI. He and his sister have MS. His niece was diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome. His neurologist doesn't believe in...

Remember reading last year that Dr. Zamboni found that over 90% of young children (he treated through adulthood) with a particular vascular issue ended up with MS 20 years later.

Badger,

I just reread through your posts. You did so well for so many months. Could there be restenosis? Is it possible to have this check out before you go back to Tysabri?

Cure,

You are so right about the media. I would have never believed it until I followed CCSVI this past year and a half. And there are many people who only get their information from the news media. It is all about the one liners - what makes it interesting - very little real journalism.

Dr Zivadinov was the first American neurologist to put his reputation on the line by seriously researching CCSVI. ozarkcanoer I can testify to that. My husband's neurologist made a similar statement to us when we brought reserach on CCSVI to him last year. That Dr. Zivadinov and Dr. Winestock-Gutma...

My husband took MSM for years, but at a much higher dose. A doc once told him to take it for his back pain. Didn't help the back pain, but that night his leg spasms quieted down. He quit the three different muscle relaxers he was on and only took the MSM for about five years. Sometime last year, he ...

When I talked to Mehta's office they also said you must first have consultation and then return for the procedure. That does make it difficult for those who have to travel. Not counting if you should have to return for follow-up after procedure.
