I am not an expert but thought that it might be helpful to those thinking about applying. Thanks, Andrea http://www.youtube.com/watch?e...

I have no neurologist

Thanks for the responses. I was in a drug study that I just dropped out of, since I got the control drug Avonex. I was seeing the top MS doc there and he is the one that told me that I could not do streroids for a couple of months. Since I won't be seeing him any longer and my old Neurologist left t...

Good and not so good neuro's & study out of Texas>

I have had good and not so good Neurologists. I guess I have been lucky. My last one was very proactive and opened minded, blunt at times but always honest with me. She is no longer in my state. I had been in a drug study for a little ove...r a year for another oral drug. I got stuck with the contro...

Dear Andrea, In answer to the question about what the innominate vein is, I think you will most easily find the answer in the following diagram. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Gray1174.png There is both a left and right innominate vein. Also keep in mind that innnominate is used interchangeably ...

Hi eveyone, I don't know if I am being premature on posting here or not. I had my procedure on the 14th, so this is only day 4. I have not seen any improvements at all with any of my symptoms. I am hoping that over time I will see some benefits. For those of you who haven't, what are your symptoms a...

Dear Dr. Sclafani, I am sorry if this question has been asked elsewhere, but looking through all of the threads is hard for me. I am wondering how CCSVI affects the spinal cord? Would the azagos vein be the reason with refulx and leaving iron deposits in the spinal cord. I ask because all of my rela...

Thanks JR. I did find a website that offers a lot of information about this as well. I was also checking on how to become a Citzen Lobbist, lots of reading to do and my brain is not as fast as it use to be. Grass roots efforts for the lobbying seems to be the best way since it costs to have a profes...

The current studies being done are small and will take just as much time with little benefit for the average MS patient...
