Is bloodwork needed?

When I was on Avonex I had to have blood tests every 6 months...however with the Copaxone my neuro hasnt sent me for any testing of any type. Is there any type of test that I should be getting while on this medication?
Thanks

If someone asked me it wouldnt bother me...after 7 years Im finally to a point where Im ok talking to others about the impact MS has on me...plus Im a pretty open person. On the other hand, before my dx, I would never have thought of asking someone that question...now though the thought has crossed ...

Congratulations!

That is great news!! I can honestly say my best 9 months with MS were when I was pregnant! I actually forgot I had MS for a while there!

Congratulations again!! :D

I would be happy with $100 a month....my co-pay is $260 a month.... 8O it sucks. I seriously can think of a lot of other things I would rather buy for myself with that money than 30 injections!! LOL

Harry,

I would have to agree with you....I wasnt too impressed with the lack of concern on their part when I contacted them about this particular side effect. To be honest, Ive learned more about it from this forum and on the internet, then I did from them. :(

Totally Agree!!

I have two very spoiled meows....and they have seen me thru so much over the past 7 years with this disease. They are so comforting and seem to always know when Im not feeling well...and SEELIE.....yes about the purring!! There is something so amazing about that sound huh!!!

Hey Arron

Yes I do...its horrible! My poor thighs look like someone punched me and the impression just stuck!! 8O Ive been on the Copaxone for 2 years now. I use the Autoject. I was on Copaxone back in1997-1998 and had no issues with it...I wonder sometimes if its due to the autoject? Shared Solutions told me...
