Re: CCSVI RESEARCH here

Hi Dr. Joe, I'm sad to hear that your wife Judy has lost most of her benefits from her CCSVI procedures. Was Judy tested to see which veins have restenosed?.. either by clotting, Intiminal Hyperplasia or perhaps a flap left over from valve opening (leaflets) blocking the flow? It is true that it wil...

Re: SIR debate: Siskin vs Reekers

When Dr. Siskin was asked at the CCSVI Symposium 2011 - The Second Annual Meeting "What anti-coagulant are you using?"..he said, "Pradaxa." Is this new for him, or just for his trial? It was never part of any of my two procedures with him. Does anyone know why he changed his post- CCSVI medications ...

Re: Can I answer your eye questions at ISNVD?

Hi Dr. Diana,
Is it possible for these small vessels/ghost vessels, in the fundus, that help drain the eye are really collaterals? And if so, can they rupture and cause blood inside the eye from lack of drainage outflow? Perhaps because of Optic Neuritis and/or MS relapse?
Thank you,

Re: Can I answer your eye questions at ISNVD?

I went permanently blind in my right eye within hours on October 29, 2011, with no explainable reason from over 6 drs. I am devastated and still in shock over this. It is devastating. And no explanation. I wish you continued healing, emotionally and physically, despite this loss. Thank you Cece.

Re: DrSclafani answers some questions

Special care would have to be avoiding the Voice box, Esophagus and/ or Thyroid gland. Another powerful thought. CD That would be my concern. What if it was a muscle paralyzer to my above comment body parts? A disaster waiting to happen. 8O CD Edit to add: Thank you Dr Sclafani for your recent repl...

Re: anyone had lazer endoscopic surgery on spine?

Hi Blossom, I had full open, scalpel cut, surgery on my L 3, 4, 5, S 1 Spine. Some months later my Neuro-surgeon starting to do it with a laser endoscope. He used a laser on the inside to help stop all bleeding as he worked. He removed bone to get to my Dura area where I had a huge cyst compressing ...

Re: Review of Venous Anatomy - a new paper by Dr. Siskin

I haven't read the full paper, no. Dr Siskin is in a few Clinical trials, simultaneously, so he has to use these words in his abstract statement to be a bit neutral, IMO. Or to CYA sort of statement, as the outcome of his trials are far in the future with his team, and also more recruiting. BTW, he ...

Re: Mayo Clinic Vein Reconstruction Surgery for CCSVI !!

I can't remember where this patient had his 10 angioplasties redone, and redone, again and again, do you? Who paid for them? Did his insurance pay for them too? So many people can't get it done once, or twice to try to fix the problem, how did he get 10? Just curious. I read the article late last ni...
