MSers DO NOT VOTE LABOUR - Election Time Its our time

Post by silverbirch »

UK Prime minister - Gordon Browns reply to CCSVI screening petition.

The treatment for CCSVI is not available for patients with multiple sclerosis in the United Kingdom because there is no convincing evidence to suggest that it is safe or beneficial to people with MS.

We are not convinced by the evidence that blockages to draining veins from the brain are specific to people with multiple sclerosis, or that this explains the cause of multiple sclerosis at any stage of the condition.
We are all agreed that people with multiple sclerosis are not likely to benefit by treatments that dilate blood vessels and consider these procedures to carry risks with no evidence for benefit.

Let’s return fire now 80,000 votes some were some one in government will pick up on it and we will get publicity.
It’s their only language and what a prime time Election Time.

Get the opposition attention a chance for them to nab some votes…..

Put him out in MAY

not just 80,000 but we all have relatives and most of them are more angry than the patient themselves. Not to mention, other diseases which might be connected to CCSVI. I really suggest if one can start a facebook group to oust this moron. In fact, that will also catch attention very fast ...

Well, don't cut off your nose to spite your face and vote in the conservatives. Give the Lib Dems a chance...they seem the most likely to give a hoot.

I hear what your sayingxx

I’ve just got one thing on my mind and that's CCSVI who ever promises to get us treated /screened will get my vote.

The very sad thing is we in the UK have put into the National Insurance Pot NHS with a view if we have a symptom it will be treated and part of my symptoms is a possible vein blockage weather its up my arse or in my brain I want treatment and to petition bloody downing street for treatment I’ve paid for .............

So if the Raven Looney Party or Looney Tunes gave CCSVI the recognition it deserves I would give them my vote.

I say the conservatives as they are giving Labour a run for their £££ according to the polls..... I just wanted to up the anti

Apologies in advance and I do hope I’ve not upset any one ((Except Gordon the Moron) but this is how I feel and too have to Petition that fool is an insult to the founders of the NHS and the ££ ive put into the pot

Take Care

I prefer MS to idea of voting for the Old Etonian party. Be careful what you wish for.

Old Etonian party
As opposed to the New Etonian Party? Lot's of public schoolboys and schoolgirls in it, too. Don't know if the Torys would be any better but, let's face it, could they be worse?

Word! (I've never said, or written that before...)

My wife is livid, and I have to keep calming her down. Just this AM we discussed this, and I told her that after 17 years of MS, I am very glad that the end is in sight at all. 4 months ago, everything was very dark and hopeless. In that time, things have gone wild, with clinics, studies, etc. popping up everywhere.
My name is not really Johnson. MSed up since 1993

In reply to what you wish for i– Me I would vote for the Old Etonians rather than MS every day, all day long and then some !!!!!!

Betula pendula,

The problem is, that you seem to be linking CCSVI to MS. The facts of life are that CCSVI treatments have been performed by IRs on patients with a variety of conditions for a number of years. It is not a new or unsafe procedure as I understand. For example, you might have this treatment if you had cystic fibrosis or you were involved in a road accident.

Phil

I understand your point but in not linking MS & CCSVI and I must keep reminding myself .

Then what is the big drama about ? over here the NHS will not screen ...
if its a know procedure why not screen ? and why then has all MS got blocked veins ?

Reading back on what ive just written it looks like a hundread questions apoligies in advance xxx
