flemmy cough starting the day after balloon angiogram
I am curious if it is just a coincidence or related to opening up the veins...

I wonder if your d-dimer is high. My d-dimer was high and I had no PE. Apparently a high d-dimer can be associated with an MS relapse, so that may not be reliable. But you would definitely not want to miss an embolism!
What's the situation now?
Sorry -- editing for a question -- when you say vein checks, do you mean a new venography, or a doppler or some other noninvasive test?
I'm so sorry about your symptoms. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a major complication for you.

Daytrader....wishing you answers and anticoagulation! Keep us posted. Thoughts go out to you. These kind of complications are the reason I keep hoping people can stay local (for people who don't know medical lingo- PE is pulmonary embolism) Follow-up is essential.
