Trish--screw the scientific facts....I'm cashing in! You'll be happy to know that Dr. Embry and I will be coming to your town soon, in the Vitamin D Mobile (solar-powered, of course!) We will be offering our proprietary blend of endothelial-strengthening herbs and vitamin D supplements for a low, low introductory price--only to MS patients!

But wait, there's more! For an additional $19.95, I will include an autographed copy of "It's Never in Vein"...the true story of Cheerleader. (There is even a bonus CD included) Dr. Embry will be speaking about his new position as the official spokesperson for sunshine. He'd better be asking for a "rays" soon!

I've seen the light. Thanks to all of the very smart men on TIMS for learnin' me!

Newbie Mistake

Whitey, you shouldn't waste your time with Bob (Lyon). He's a paid troll and merely posts to goad others into responding. Save your energy for more worthy adversaries. Trust me, I've been there.

Hi Whitey--
thanks for linking to the 46 published papers on CCSVI--I would have pointed to the same page, and I'm old around here. Welcome, and don't let Bob scare you....
you gonna buy my book?

I'd buy your book, Cheer... :D

Wondering why anybody even bothers reading posts from a Grounds Maintenance guy anyway? Didn't we learn our lesson from Chris?

He left and we're stuck with Mr. Negative.. Go away already...

I don't get how an improvement of a symptom such as foot drop can be dismissed as a placebo effect. If you can't lift your foot due to nerve damage, you can't lift your foot. Being positive, feeling groovy or delusional about it shouldn't make a difference.

I should think that if I had a CCSVI procedure and had a reversal of long standing deficits, the first thing I'd do with my new super powers is punch in the face someone who suggested I'm experiencing a placebo effect.

Me too Jugular... then I'd tell them .. "it's really not pain from that right hook to the jaw your experiencing... you just "think" is pain"..

Maybe the Cowardly Lyon would like to be first in line to "scientifically" prove this new fangled placebo effect???

Lyon,
Is this really you???

Sheesh. How many usernames do you use anyway???

Tell Zap I saw through his charade immediately -- did he like what he learned? Huh, Zap? Tell us what you learned from me about Lyon that you really liked. And why didn't you ever get back to me, anyway?

Lyon, you don't want me chasing you out of every thread you start under a fake name or away from every post you make, do you?

I believe in giving MSers second chances, but only if they learn from them and start posting nice, decent posts that my DAUGHTER can read.
