`Reflux` or `Turbulance` showing in my veins.........
Has anybody had a doppler ultrasound or MRV that shows a `reflux` problem or `turbulance` in the veins with no actual stenosis? If so what are they and can the liberation treatment by angioplasty help this problem? Confused and no where to turn!

turbulence
I had exactly that diagnosis in my left jugular on May 17 at FCSC. I was told that Dr. Simka would balloon based on this evidence.
Luckily, I now have an appt. in Poland on June 23/24. I hope I will be able to give you more information after that.

When you got reflux and turbulance showin on the scans, they will probably discover stenosis when they do a venogram.
When you are having the venogram done, they decide there and then what is the best way to solve the problem for you, or if it can be solved.
I'm not quite sure how much they found on me during the ultrasound, but I think he said not critical, but I think that was my jugular. Something was said about the azygos, but I don't know exactly. I asked, and was told dr.petrov would give me the percentages during operation.
Well he found 50 and 70 % on the jugulars and 90 on the azygos. It is almost impossible to get anything other then indication from the scans in perticular on the azygos.
Good luck with venogram and treatment
