Having followed the TIMS posts for a while, I was emboldened to get on the list to get the CCSVI Procedure.

I will be in Poland June 25th!!!!

Thank you to everyone who has shared their experiences, tips, ups and downs. It made it much easier and I feel more realistic in what to expect with the procedure.

So I look forward to meeting the other adveturers. I will be coming with my sister and my friend Sydney who will also be getting the treatment. She and I have been busy getting everything in order. It's too exciting.

Being diagnosed with MS was the start of a long series of losses. This forum has been a huge plus, as so many people from so many places and perspectives share their experiences..

Now, everyone medical in my life hates the fact that I don't quietly comply with every word out of their mouths. I have facts and background information that I learned here and am an active partipant in my health.

I have gained so much knowledge from everyone on this site, thank you. Diana

Count us in Bizzy, we are Dutch (the vicinity of Amsterdam). I have just made the payment and am excited beyond words. I'll be arriving Friday 26 June, along with my lovely wife and 5 year old son, Jonathan. Looking forward to meet you guys.

Katherine of EuropaNostra travel gave us a card with translations for use in the hospital.
The 2 other woman I was in the room at the hospital with and I had absolutely no trouble in getting our messages across with these card and hand signals - the nurses didn't have any problems getting their messages across either !

:D I just got back from the bank, I've transfered the first part to Europa Nostra. Strange to be happy to send money away. We are arriving in Tychy on the June 26th and looking forward to meeting some of you in person. Katherine has arranged for us to spend some time in Krakow after the second week. She has also arranged fow a wheelchair while in Tychy and Krakow. It's 10PLN/day.
Cheers

Ive been feeling so rotten lately, it's hard to get in to the excited mode I should be in. I think I'm a little worried too that I didn't hear back since the transfer to make sure all is well. I'm sure it is, but you know MS, worry, stress LOL
