Euromedic
Euromedic
I wrote to doctor Simka back in January and never heard back. I just got an email today where they say there would be openings probably in July or August of this year. Sounds great, I would love to join the Poland treated crowd, but since there is much fraud and garbage on the net, I would like to know if other people suddenly got replies months later? Did you hear back when you first emailed months ago?
Also the patient coordinator Marta Cyba, has anybody else been in contact with her, in other words is this a real person?
If one goes to Euromedic does one get treated by doctor Simka which I would love or have they a lot of new doctors on staff now?
Sorry about all the questions I just hate to get my hopes up in vain. I must have sent 100 emails all over the place and even got a local surgeon interested just to have my neurlogist and the local radiologist refuse to use to proper protocol because 'they know how to do them'.

I also sent an email to Dr. Simka just before they added the patient coordinators (maybe it was late January or early February??), and never heard back.
I received an email today from Marta Cyba asking me to let them know if I'm still interested in treatment. I've decided to stay local, so took my name off the list.
Hope that helps-

hi jamit,
"If one goes to Euromedic does one get treated by doctor Simka which I would love or have they a lot of new doctors on staff now? "
unfortunately Dr Simka and Dr Ludyga are not everyday in operation room so is a big chance that your procedure will do unknow doktor which is very sad like was in my case. i was so suprised on the table that doctors i expected were not there.
the service in euromedic is not very pleasant- the nurses - dont ask to help you so often, don't check you over night (they sleep), my room was really disappointed...
drivers are so nice and helpfull

I had the same problem with emailing just as Simka's email changed to the euromedic. Noticed on this site that many were getting dates that had contacted after mine. Emailed again and said that I had emailed at end of December and they got me in right away. Loved my time there, if possible go and stay in Krakow for a few days.

HI there,
I just got back from Katowice a couple of days ago as my guy was liberated on the 27th of May.
I found the nurses at the hospital to be quite pleasant, it's gotta be hard for them also not knowing english, but they tried their best to communicate. There is a sheet floating around there with English/Polish phrases on it, and the nurses did refer to it.
When Robert has his procedure done, Dr. Simka was a spectator in the operating room, the other Dr, ( can't pronounce his name but it starts with a K) did the procedure.
Dr. Simka is very humble, he came into the room prior to Liberation treatment and did the doppler on Robert and we had no clue it was him until I asked him his name.
If you get a chance to visit the town there, I would suggest pizza at the restaurant with the christmas lights hanging under the outside tent. If you go to where the Market is, only a few blocks from Qubis, or Angelo Hotel(we stayed there) there is a street blocked off from traffic, and it is lined with patio bars. There is also a Costa coffee house down on the left hand side on that same street. I wish I could remember the name of the street, but I can't sorry.
I hope everyone going to Poland over the next weeks, enjoys there time there. The drivers who pick you up are great also, Peter, Magic and Chris.
Good luck to everyone who goes.
