E Mail from Bulgaria

Hi,
am booked for treatment on Sept 24,2010 and on the last e mail it mentioned that they needed 5 days prior to surgery for cancellation but the reply was hard to understand. Do they mean 5 days prior to treatment or 5 days from e mail. Does anybody know how they operate?
