I received the same e-mail. There are 4 doctors named at the bottom of the letter. Do you think this means Dr. Siskin has now trained another partner? With 4 doctors performing the procedure it could help move the list along.

I got the same email yesterday 2 July 2010.

While there's a wait involved, on the positive side that means that by the time my name reaches the top, they will have accumulated a lot of practical experience with CCSVI procedures.

Dr. Siskin studied with Dr Sclafani. He is very committed to helping those of us with this problem. His office is flooded with calls. They will respond/schedule everyone. He's a great guy, really enthusiastic about this intervention. He belongs to something like an HMO up there in Albany and works with the other vein center specialists, there.

I have an appointment with Dr. Sisken in 6 months . I am quadriplegic . Can I spend the 24 hours in the hospital rather than the general area as required ?

Please ask Dr. Siskin directly, I hope he will be able to make this accomodation for you.

I got the same e-mail as well. Anybody has an idea how long it'll take between getting this e-mail and a phone call.

My darling man received the same email. He originally called on May 18th but never got a call back. So he called again on May 24th and got a call on the 26th to give basic information. He called again because I was told that everyone who had called on or before May 18 had been contacted by one of the doctors. He was told that he is on the waiting list and to be patient.

Now, because of this email, he feels disheartened. I'll be perfectly honest. I feel annoyed because it seems that he's not in the appropriate place on the list because he called on May 18.

I'll admit it. I'm impatient. He's the one suffering and he's more patient than I am. I've contacted some doctors close to him and have gotten minimal response. I believe in what Cheer says about going local. I'm not giving up on that but I also agree with Cece. I want someone with experience in testing and treating to see him.

Thank you, Vivianne. He got the email the same day that everyone else did. He's PPMS and his condition is getting worse. I just want him seen as soon as possible. He's so wonderful and patient and I'm very impatient. Of course, I want the same thing for everything else.

vivianne776 - I would guess that he'll be offered a Sept/early October appointment. My logic stems from the last batch of people getting August appointments and I was told they schedule 1 month at a time.

Are you talking to me or Vivianne? I'm praying for September or October.
