CCSVI Atlanta has a Facebook page and it looks like they are gearing up to do the doppler testing per the Zamboni protocol, using the Zamboni software. (This is what their page says)
I cannot tell who CCSVI Atlanta is exactly....does anyone know? Or has anyone been tested by them yet? I'd like some way to verify they are indeed going to be using the correct software, Zamboni protocol, etc. I'd thought Buffalo was the only place that had thae new software.
I do hope this is legit - we more than one place to go to get the correct doppler screening done!

I didn't get anything by googling the number. On their facebook page they say they are doppler ultrasound testing only (can't remember the price exactly but around $500 to $600) but will try to provide referrals to florida and georgia IRs willing to treat.

Not saying CCSVI Atlanta is or is not legit .
But I do know this. The CCSVI procedure and money being spent by pwMS has not gone unnoticed by the Tony Soprano's of the world.
Please be extremely cautious with whom you think can offer the Liberation procedure
As hard as it is ..... pwMS must be patient .... there are now two legitimate CCSVI -MS small studies being done that involve angioplasty in pwMS . The University of Buffalo and The University of BC.
Not doubt there are more flying under the radar .... as we speak.

I think normally insurance would cover the doppler testing when done in an MD's office or hospital by a doc like an IR, etc. and then when billed with the appropriate venous/vascular codes.
My understanding so far (but I'm not sure this is correct) is that the main doc behind this is a chiropractor?? And the scans are being done in a chiropractors office? But by a licensed/Zamboni/BNAC trained sonographer and that the results will be read by a BNAC trained MD.
So, on the one hand if they can offer the correct testing, that's fine. Who cares what office it's in. But how to confirm they are legit/and are really using the latest Zamboni protocol, etc and know how to read the results correctly?
