How is everyone? Getting better I hope!

Nothing new to report. Getting ready for another 21 day stint w/ flagyl.

Hey, you! Go easy on that stuff; you have to give your body time to recover from flagyl and die-off! I'm on the third day of my second flagyl pulse (five day pulses, thank you very much) and nothing much is happening. Stuffy ears, runny nose the first two days. Now nothing. I suppose I shouldn't complain. As long as the ultimate outcome is good...

Hello folks,

Thanks for your concerns, just following Dr. Srirams orders. After much debate decided to go ahead and try the 21 on and 7 off to see what effects it may hold. It can't be any worst than the progression that I've seen the past year. famous last words. I'll keep you posted as to the progress if any.

Hello Roy, I must have just missed you on CPn Help, but I just wanted to wish you all the best for the New Year. We toasted you all with blanc de noirs last night, at the stroke of midnight. This morning, my sister sent me a text message which reminded me that it had also been our 11th wedding anniversary! Honestly, I had completely forgotten.

How do you do it, Roy? I did only 3 days last time because I had an appointment with the neurologist. It was a week early because I felt like it was time. But I have so much admiration for you. How is your wife?

Love you all out there and may you all be ready for the MS 1/2 marathon, coming some time maybe.

Hello Rica,

It was a little rough the first 7 days but after that it was just another day. The flagyl started not to taste as bad as it did to start with.

Terry is doing OK with the treatments. She has not started the flagyl pulses as of yet. Been trying to get her to post her ABX log but she hasn't yet. Thank for inquiring about her.

Roy - I'm just about done with MY third pulse and it was wholly unremarkable. Except for a little queasiness when I took flagyl and doxy in the same hour (just not thinking, I guess), I had no response other than feeling a bit blah. And that could be work-related, not health-related.

So, let's see what the clean-up period brings, since JimK thinks I might have a reaction or two in the next week. Go for it! I think we tend to dwell on the herx stuff and it's really not too awful at all....

Hey Mac- I've just finished my 7th pulse, and my first one with INH added. My last pulse was a bit like yours, mild and transient aches and pains but no big deal, felt much better by the end of it. This time the first couple days were like early pulses-- deep joint pain and fatigue-- then by the 5th day I felt great. I think we hit different layers depending on other factors, such as immune response, degree of cell apoptosis (cell death) and what not.

For you, or anyone, I hope your pulses become unremarkable and you just get better, and better, and better...
