For those of you who want a quick report: I have been REliberated!
It turns out that I had significantly restenosed from my first procedure 5 months ago.
I have begun to see improvements almost immediately. Most importantly, my balance and therefore my walking are MUCH BETTER. And it has only been 2 days!
We now believe that I began restenosing about 3 weeks after the first procedure. I was treated by a different doctor this time who has a lot of experience. If you recall, I was the first person treated at Georgetown. Although my doctor may be a fine surgeon, we now know that this procedure is like nothing these doctors have ever done before.
My current doctor was more aggressive that the first, so I am hopeful that this treatment will last much longer. I chose not to stent, so we'll have to wait and see!

You've pointed out a very good reason to hold off on stenting until vein stenting is perfected! Much sasfer to redo the procedure than deal with a horrible stent issue!
The improved vein stent is just around the corner from what I've read on this forum...
Those of us who are in better condition and feel they have time to wait may consider to forego stenting on the first lap...
If you have to travel the first time, chances are (WHEN CCSVI is proven) it will be much easier to go local the secoind time!

Good blog lucky !!!! I am getting liberated August 17 so it is good to read about your experience. I have wondered why we don't hear any news from Georgetown. I am glad you posted your blog info hear. There are so many websites and blogs now that I just can't keep up with them all and I love reading them. My wishes for continued improvements...
