Hi there;
My name is Defne and I have been diagnosed about a month ago, but I have been quite familiar with MS. My mom had it as long as I can remember. Doctors don't know what type of ms she has because when her ms started they did not even know what MS was in Turkey (where I am originally from).

I have been doing a lot of research for almost 10 years now so when I learned I had MS, I already know everything about it:)

I am going on Avonex next week if the insurance works out. I am also booked at the end of December to get the CCSVI surgery in Albany, NY.

I thought since I have been following this website for the past year, I should finally join since I just got diagnosed.
