Relapse question

Post by DaisyRocks »

I was diagnosed with MS about a year ago and have not had a relapse. My initial symptoms were tingling in my right fingers, being REALLY tired. Then I kept dropping pens and not being able to type or write clearly (I'm right handed). I also had eye problems. Everything was 'jumpy'. I can now write and type like before although my fingers are still tingly and I have double vision in my right eye. I walk 3 miles about 4 times a week. I also play on a golf league so I walk a lot at that as well.

I'm just wondering, if I get a relapse, or maybe I should say, when I have a relapse, will I see those initial symptoms again? That is, will my right hand not work right and will I have 'jumpy' eyesight again? I know MS is different for every person so maybe the relapses are different for everyone too. I'm glad there are forum's like this out there so I can learn about the disease from others who have it.

Thanks,
Christel

I think that a relapse could just as easily make old symptoms worse as well as bring on new symptoms.

It's worth knowing that high dose D3 has been shown to effectively cut relapse rates.
