Does anyone have info about the clinic treating in Rhode Island? Has anyone gone there?

I believe that it is Dr Soares at the Rhode Island Vascular institute

but that is the limit of my knowledge

Cost 6500 US plus 1500 per stent if needed
Appt. available for Nov.Dec.
Dr. Soares is the doctor

I am going for a consult with Dr. Soares on Thu 9/30 and was told I would then get an appt for the procedure within two weeks. (I am "local" (NE CT), if you are flying in they do everything back to back).

I had a 20 minute phone call with Dr. Soares and was impressed with what he knew, he has obviously done his homewrok. He was first contacted in March by an MS patient and they are just now going public about doing the procedure. He is meeting with Dr. Siskin in October.

Veins opened 10/15/10. RIJV still on the small side. Feeling much better.
