Post by thornyrose76 »

What are typical costs for testing/treating CCSVI if having the procedure done in a US hospital?

PI charges 10,500.

2500 for an MRV

200 for a consultation with the PI doctor which if you go through with the procedure is 8000.

Costs at US hospitals are a lot higher north of $50,000 you must be talking about an outpatient clinic. The MRV is probably $2500 without insurance, my insurance paid $900 for mine.

My total was just shy of $24K, that does not incude hotel, meals and flights. I was fortunate in that insurace picked up the bulk, so it was mainly travel, food and lodging for me.
