Vancouver CCSVI Information Session

Post by happy_canuck »

Our Vancouver group had a meeting with 300 people attending last night. Panelists included four patients treated in various locations, Dr. Bill Code (a physician with MS awaiting treatment), and Dr. Joseph Hewett from Pacific Interventionalists in California. Dr. Hewett speaks about Reinterventions and Difficult Cases, a topic that is very relevant given recent media coverage.

Sorry for audio quality!! Also, we had a fixed camera (it was a webcast), so some speakers wandered in and out of field...

But it was a terrific evening, with so much energy and so much hope. We got good media coverage and are hoping for more.

I will be posting information about our next event (I announce it on the video), which will feature a roundtable discussion with Dr. Kirsty Duncan, MP, and several medical profesisonals. It will be held November 26, 2010 in Vancouver. PM me if you need more info right away!
