Hello everyone

Post by weedenise »

Hi

Just wanted to introduce myself - I just joined today.

My name is Denise, I live in Glasgow, Scotland, married with two gorgeous sons (age 7 and 3) and was dx in October 05 (first problems in October 04). Due to start Avonex in a week or so and thought I'd have a look round here as I think peoples experiences are better than any health leaflets available personally.

Look forward to talking to you all in the future. :D

Hi Denise

Welcome to the site. It'll be interesting to see how your Scottish experience of the NHS compares with that in England and Wales!

Hi JFH

So far I can't complain about the treatment I've had. No time has really been wasted and everything has happened relatibvley quickly (inlcuding me actually getting MS!! Literally went to bed and got up next morning unable to see out one eye and being told it looked like ON which is usually one of the first presenting sympstom of MS! Happy days lol!

Look forward to speaking to you.

Denise
