Dear Erika,

You are a force to be reckoned with! I so wish I could have had lunch with you on one of my two trips to your part of the world. But alas...

Good luck with your investigations, Lucky Girl!

I apologize, I perhaps used wrong words. I did not have any surgery. The doctor was something like a chiro and he had to fix my neck only with very painful movement when I was 11.

Erika, I am the one who needs to apologize for assuming the intervention was surgical. Also, I'm sorry painful movement by the chiro was required to fix your neck. Hopefully, there will not be anymore painful movements! Thanks for the clarification. Sorry for the confusion! Again, great work on finding a chiro in Slovakia. You go, girl!

No, this shouldn't be painful. This chiro is using "soft" method.

I should do a little update.
I am having a relaps. It started late afternoon Dec. 3 - it means exactly 13 months after my procedure.
It was really bad the first 4 days. I even wanted to call the emergency but I was not able to move to open my eyes, nothing. The burning sensation was really strong. I do not know if I fainted or not, or just fell asleep. I had stupid nightmare. I saw flame all over my body even on my face. I really wanted to call 911. I woke up. There was no flame of course. Moreover we have no 911 number in my country. I was dreaming in English including saying "oh sh...".
It was very intensive, I was 4 days somewhere out. I am better now but of course not as well as a week ago.
Well, this was just question of time. I felt I was balancing on the edge.
I still have very strong pain behind my left eye. I do not know what to do with that but perhaps nothing.
Sorry, no more power for typing...

I am so sorry to hear this Erika:(( I would try and get some nattokinase (I take 200mg everyday) and take 75mg/100mg aspirin plus also take Tumeric and eat lots of food that contain vitamin E, make sure you drink 2 litres of water. This will help get your blood moving.

I hope you feel better soon and again I am soo sorry:(
Well, that's life.
I still take 100 mg of Aspirin as I have a stent.
I hardly walk inside of the house. I am not going anywhere to look for anything. If there is help for me, it comes to me by itself. I am too weak, too fatigued, too tired...
I drink 1,5 litres of water daily. I eat very little as I have problems with nausea which is much stronger these days.
Doesn't matter what I do my flow in my left jugular is very slow. Some patients are maybe harder to treat for CCSVI. Maybe there is another problem involved...
Don't worry.

Hi esta!
If I knew how to get better I would do it!
I felt more energy only the first 33 days. I went for my first follow up 77 days after my procedure - the flow was very slow. I am sorry but I really do not know how to fix it. I do not even know if it is really my problem.
I am still able to use the toilet without any help. I even was able to have shower without help.
Maybe there are simply cases where cannot be done anything anymore.
But at least I tried!

Oh Erika, you poor thing. I am so sorry to hear of your new exacerbation, but I am very glad you told us.

I must say that I love your English "oh sh**" thought in your bad dream which made me think you're spending too much time at TIMS. Just kidding!!

Your eye pain has me worried, but there may be hope for you in the name of Keppra...

My eye pain was so bad that in my sleep, I would jam my fists so hard and deep into my eyes, in an unconscious attempt to stop the pain, that I would be 100% blind when I awoke because blood flow had been stopped. The blindness always went away over the course of several hours, thank God.

For me, Keppra (Levetiracetam) works wonders and saved my vision. Maybe you can ask your doctor(s) for a prescription???

Best of luck and please keep us updated.

Hi Pam!
Thank you, but I am not going to lose more energy neither money on "maybe".
I only have 2 plans in my near future. I hope to have enough energy to drive my car to spend 3 Christmas days in another town to have peace.
The second plan is to be able to drive to see my new chiro to the same town on Jan. 5.

Erika,

Your two plans sound terrific:

* Having three days of peace will be very good for you. My Christmas wish is for you to have enough energy to make the trip -- you will be in my prayers.

* Seeing the chiro will also be very good for you, and you must know that I am happy this appointment is in your plans. My Christmas wish is repeated.

hello Erika and all!
i`m reading this forum for the last week or so ,trying to open the eyes
of MS patients in israel and a neighbor of mine who have MS.
I`m working in herbal medicine and a researcher .

When i first heard about the cause of MS i was astounded.
I immediately thought about plants that work on veins.

first plant is evening primrose oil ,which many people use for MS around the world .this plant been searched a lot and known to be good for many blood related problems ,and its leaves is the best source of quercetin.

second there is a book by Rudolf Breuss ,who explain how get rid of phlebitis in the veins. He recommended a vinegar+water compress 3 times a day.i think it worth try it to the neck area.
He also say that curd-quark compress is good as well.

another plant that considerd to be one the best to vein problems
internally and externally is butcher's broom.
specipely to venous insufficiency
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16245442 ,and many more.
if i have MS i will for sure try it.

Another great herb is Gotukola or Centella asiatica which used for the same problems as butcher's broom(and many more uses).
This plant is one the must important plant in india and close countries.
and test good too :-).

well hope it will help some one,i`m sure that plant and good food will work for it too.

in fact i did with my former boss a cream for Varicose Veins that work so well, that after 10 minutes we saw it almost gone from the legs of some patients. we used oak bark and butcher's broom if i remember correctly.

all the best everyone
yigal
