reversible stenosis of major cerebral arteries

Post by hwebb »

an interesting article:

Reversible stenosis of major cerebral arteries demonstrated by MRA in thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura

http://www.springerlink.com/content/qcab5ylefw7dqrgb/

it's stated a few times in this article that "The major artery changes in our case can be best explained by endothelial damage".

I realise this is not directly related to the types of vascular obstructions which characterise CCSVI, but it's still an interesting read.
