It might tie in to heat intolerance too; glucose levels in the blood vary more dramatically when it's hot outside, it's something that diabetics have to take into account in the summer. I am also trying now to have some light protein before I go to bed, since sleep is in particular a "danger" time with poor blood flow. If you read Cheer's research on REM sleep, it tied into this because REM sleep takes a lot of glucose and in glucose-deprived brains, it could be why some pwMS report not dreaming and why some liberatis report a return of dreams.

Cece, you are right, sleep is in particular a danger time with poor blood flow. but then, why have some light protein before you go to bed? and what is that, what should I think of?

Thanks AMcG. Educating oneself is so much easier with this interweb thing. Ask a question and you get to see the main man (Prof Zamboni) talking about the subject. I will post again when I have studied the seminar.
In my day educating oneself was much slower - microfiche was the best available technology !!!

Leonard, just saw that, for me it's just that I tend to eat dinner around 6 but maybe not go to bed until midnight, so I consciously eat something before bed so that it's not such a long fast before breakfast. It was actually advice I'd read when I was pregnant to avoid morning sickness, to keep the blood sugar more stable I suppose. My particular snacks might be a glass of milk, leftover chicken, my workout protein drink, chips...shhh on that last one... :) No RCT has been done on my midnight snack choices, alas.... :)

Mr. Success
Constant baseless accusations are not part of a good debate.

if the warning does not make sense to you because you did not see the offensive content removed, just take it as a policy reminder when posting on a potentially controversial topic.
