Fibromyalgia (FMS) and Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)

If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Fibromyalgia (FMS) and Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)

Post by LoveActually »

I'm curious about the number of people who have MS, FMS, and RLS. Anyone have the three? I've heard FMS and RLS like to strike together, I'm wondering how true that is among MS patients.

I ask because I am starting to wonder if my pain may be related to one of the two or possibly both. I definitely have more pain when I first get up in the morning. The bottoms of my feet are so tingly that it feels like I'm walking on needles. Lucky for me though, it only lasts a few minutes. I also seem to be in more pain after sitting for a while and when I lay down for bed. This makes me think it may be RLS.

I also have areas on the side of my thighs and areas below my knees, side of calf area, that are more sensitive when pushed. This makes me think it's FMS.

If anyone has either FMS or RLS and can share their symptoms and how they were able to get to that diagnosis, I would greatly appreciate it.
